Working in Healthcare

In recent years I have been working in healthcare settings in a prison hospital and also in mental health day centres. This has all served to broaden my own approach to making artwork as well as endeavouring to help others on their own journey of discovery through painting, drawing and craft. My own response to a variety of challenging situations has been through a characteristic brand of expressive drawing and painting both in the studio and also when with the client group, primarily through portraiture.
