Prison Art

 From 2007-2008 I worked at the three Isle of Wight prisons teaching Art, primarily based at HMP Parkhurst in the hospital and education blocks. During that time and since leaving the prison environment has had a strong influence on my work. I attempt to deal with issues of containment and the human condition. In some works there is strong use of line (open to interpretation as bars or ladders).
